36 week Strep B Swab...?

No never heard of it but also this is my third baby. My last two were born over 9 years ago so maybe things have changed. I hope not but i will do what they say is necessary for a healthy baby. I'm 26 weeks and they have never mentioned this test! Just the pap smear swabs have been mentioned. Then again I'm unfortunate in the fact that my doctor had a baby herself and is now on maternity leave. Who knows if the replacement doc will do things different? I hope not! Good luck!
