What happens when your best friend gets a new friend?

ok.. so my birthday was may 12th. and my best friend had told me she was going to get me a pandora braclet. so i got really excited. when my birthday came, all i got from her was a sweatshirt. she told me that she didnt have the money. i was ok with it because its the thought that counts right? well this friend (bridget) decided to go to a different highschool. a prep school. and shes even boarding there next year. we used to hang out litterally EVERYDAY. it sucks because she doesnt even try to do anything with me anymore because she stays at her school till like 10 every night just to hangout with people. her brother had a graduation party yesterday, and invited me and her new friend there. and we have the same name. bridget offered her new friend to sleep over but not me. and i noticed her new friend also had a pandora braclet on with a charm. she told me bridget got it for her. i was so mad. her birthday was a a week ago. and at the graduation party, she totally ditched me the whole time to hang out with this girl. what can i do? its not fair and i miss my best friend.
