Before Code Ge R2 started, u saw shirley get killed by Rollo(SP?)but in the first episode of R2 she's alive?

there's no alternate time line theory, because before she died they (lulu and shirley) bought wine for the swim teacher, but she still got the gift, so why in the world is shirly alive?
