Can you use shampoo designed for blondes if youre brunette?

i just bought suave professionals vibrant blonde shampoo, & suave radiant brunette conditioner. what would happen if i use the blonde shampoo? i want it to enhance my light brown highlights in my natural brunette hair. help? has anyone used the suave professionals? thanks
