Which semi- automatic handgun (pistols) name brands are the best H&K, Sig Arms, Spring field Armory, Glock, or?

Ruger? My main concern is which name brand fire arm doesn't Jam or misfire very much and is it normal for a semi auto to jam or misfire? Which one of these name brands would you prevent? Keep in mind I am looking for one that doesn't jam or misfire very much. Any advice is dually appreciated.
