Hinduism...Who was a better friend...Krishna or Sudama?

Both were good friends in their childhood. Sudama was almost a beggar but still he carries a small bag of beaten rice when he goes to meet Krishna. He doesnt even ask Krishna for any favor. Krishna although knows about the plight of Sudama, doesn't help him, till the time Sudama comes to see him. Who is a better friend amongst the two?
