I am selling a piece of furniture on Craigslist. Is this Buyer ligit or a scammer? ?

Tell him he can arrange to transport the dresser if and when his check has cleared. If you feel better about a different means of payment, ie: bank draft, cashiers check...., make the option available, but the funds must clear FIRST.
