! PLEASE HELP!?
would it be possible to be having an outbreak and have a blood test come back negative. Since you're having an outbreak wouldn't there have to be a good deal a antibodies in your blood? Atleast enough to test positive. I had a scare about 2 weeks ago. There was a small red bump which looked like a razor bump but to be sure i went and got tested. The blood test came back negative but now i am reading that blood tests can come back negative even if you have it. From what i thought, it could come back negative if you have not yet experienced an outbreak and not enough time has ped since the initial contact with the virus. Basically what I am asking is, is it possible to have a negative blood test even if you are having an outbreak and the initial contact with the virus was about 2 weeks prior? i know it's kind of confusing but please help. Even after getting a negative blood test i am still so scared at the thought that i might have this virus. I know i should've used a condom... blah blah blah. That's not what I'm asking. Thanks for the advice tho.
