Can you help me think of a good science fair project at a middle school level?

There are a few simple rules. It needs to have a question that needs to be answered, and can be researched about. It cannot involve people eating or drinking anything. I strongly dislike physical science, and prefer botany (plants) or zoology (animals). Any Ideas?
